Terms of Use

Effective Date: 2026-03-04. These Terms govern access to and use of the Suike website, software, databases, APIs, and related services (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Platform

"Suike", "we", "our", or "us" refers to the operator of the Suike Platform. The Platform may include yacht specification databases, rigging configuration data, sail measurements, technical reports, data aggregation tools, quote tools, user communications, and service request systems. Features may change, expand, or be discontinued at any time.

2. Eligibility

By using the Platform, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering binding agreements in your jurisdiction, your use complies with applicable law, and you will not use the Platform for unlawful or harmful purposes.

3. User Accounts

Certain features require account registration. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, all activity under your account, and maintaining accurate account information. Suike may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or violations.

4. Yacht Data and Technical Information

Platform data may be compiled from manufacturer documentation, historical records, third-party datasets, inspections, user submissions, and automated analysis. Data may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or be outdated. Individual vessels may differ from manufacturer specifications due to modifications, refits, repairs, replacements, or owner alterations. Users must independently verify all technical specifications before relying on them.

5. Critical Safety Disclaimer

Rigging systems are safety-critical. Incorrect measurements, wire selection, terminal fittings, or installation can cause rigging failure, mast failure, vessel damage, serious injury, or loss of life. Platform information is for reference only and does not constitute engineering certification, marine survey services, or professional safety verification. Always consult qualified marine professionals and verify specifications before installation or use.

6. No Engineering or Professional Advice

Nothing on the Platform constitutes engineering advice, marine survey certification, safety certification, or professional rigging advice. Decisions on vessel equipment, rigging configuration, and installation remain the sole responsibility of the user.

7. User Measurement and Data Responsibility

Users may submit measurements and technical data, including wire lengths, terminal types, rope specifications, sail measurements, and equipment configurations. Users are solely responsible for verifying submitted and relied-upon data. Suike is not responsible for consequences arising from incorrect user-submitted data.

8. User Submitted Content License

By submitting content (including measurements, reports, photos, equipment data, and corrections), you grant Suike a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, analyze, modify, publish, and incorporate such content into the Platform database. Suike may remove or modify submissions to maintain database integrity.

9. Data Aggregation and Confidence Systems

The Platform may aggregate multiple sources and display verification metadata, confidence scores, and user confirmations. These indicators are informational only and do not guarantee accuracy.

10. Marketplace and Third-Party Services

The Platform may connect users with marine professionals such as riggers, surveyors, sailmakers, and boatyards. Suike acts only as a technology platform and does not perform marine services, employ providers, supervise work, or guarantee quality or safety. Service agreements are solely between users and providers. Suike is not responsible for related disputes, damages, or losses.

11. Intellectual Property and Database Rights

The Platform and its contents are protected by intellectual property law, including copyright and database rights, covering software, compiled datasets, architecture, analytical models, and UI design. Without permission, users may not scrape, harvest, extract substantial parts of the database, commercially reproduce data, train machine learning models on Platform data, or redistribute Platform data.

12. Automated Access Prohibition

Automated access (including bots, crawlers, scrapers, and harvesting tools) is prohibited without written permission. Unauthorized automated access may result in immediate termination, technical blocking, and legal action where appropriate.

13. Platform Availability

The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Suike does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or continuous service. Maintenance, upgrades, and technical failures may interrupt access.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suike is not liable for damages including vessel damage, rigging failure, equipment failure, personal injury, loss of life, financial loss, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from use of the Platform or reliance on Platform data. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Suike from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from misuse of the Platform, reliance on user-submitted data, violation of these Terms, user disputes, or third-party services.

16. Suspension and Termination

Suike may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, misuse occurs, or security risks arise. Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time.

17. Changes to the Platform

Suike may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without notice.

18. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the Platform operator.
